At the Epoch Dream Center, we strive to lovingly embrace each child by showing them how to value themselves and others. By sponsoring or partially sponsoring a child for one month, you are helping us provide them daily structure, examples of healthy relationships, character development, conflict resolution, and more. Our dedicated staff functions as a family support system, providing tutoring, behavioral/emotional intervention and modification as well as fun gym time every day. They work with each child, helping him/her to think through their feelings and choices; offering alternative views and options. Our caring volunteers provide weekly one-on-one mentoring and nightly home cooked meals eaten together, family style.
For $75/month, you are helping to cover the cost of providing an after-school snack and a family style dinner to our participants every day. Research shows that serving meals family style reduces a young persons' risk of obesity, substance abuse, emotional instability, and increases the probability of academic success.
