In the fall of 2018, Britt knew God’s next steps for him were in Haiti after observing the deep need for the discipleship of teens and twenty-somethings while on a few week trips with Disciples’ Village. After participating in shorter-term discipleship trainings, evangelism, and relational outreach in a variety of countries all over the world, the opportunity to continue living out his calling and invest in the next generation of Haitians for Christ led him to join the Disciples’ Village team in January of 2019. While serving as the host of the York House during his first year in Haiti, Britt began building relationships with everyone from the young men and women in DV’s partnering villages to the many construction crews flowing through the York House campus. He now oversees the young men of Alex’s House in the transition home, fills in with mission teams and uses his wide array of skills on various projects. Britt ultimately focuses on discipleship through relationship building in his daily life whether that be overseeing building projects or pouring into the lives of the local youth at a soccer game.
