This Summer I will be able to share the love of Christ with other young adults in Ethiopia. We will be partnering with e3 and will be working alongside them as brothers and sisters in Christ helping spread the gospel to those who have not heard. 

Growing up in a home that church was a huge part of my life, I thought I knew God. I thought I knew what it meant to be a follower of Christ. I prided myself on scripture memory, following some rules and being in church all the time. 

I knew that life in Christ was ultimate but I was not living it out. I prayed "the prayer" at 5 so obviously that meant I was in with God right? Being "in" with God didn't keep me from entertaining men who were not God's best, or being the "life of the party" and partying as much as I wanted to in college. 

Having a relationship with God and being convicted by the Holy Spirit was not on my radar. It wasn't until I got in a serious car accident where all I walked away with was a bruised rib and a sore back. God kept me and reminded me He has a job for me here. 

I wanted to grow and I had to find the life that God has for me. It has been a journey and He is working on me yet. Pulling back all the ugly layers that are not Him. I am grateful for this opportunity, will you partner with me?
