Hello !!

 I am so excited to be apart of such a wonderful opportunity !! I will be serving with Hope Speaks in Uganda for a couple weeks to provide educational services to children and families in need. I am an elementary educator that works with students from low-economic backgrounds and with disabilities daily. It is truly a blessing to know that I will be able to use my expertise in another country to help others. I am praying for God to use me on this trip through raising awareness on disabilities found in children, educating children and families to properly take care of their child in need, advocate for those without a voice, provide therapy, and most importantly pray with these children and families.

I believe God will do many great things on this trip through the Hope Speaks team and I !! I also believe that God will meet my every need !!  

Hope Speaks purpose on this trip is to serve children with disabilities and communication disorders in Kampala,Uganda. In this country, 1 in 7 children are living with a disability. Hope Speaks is such a powerful ministry that provides therapeutic and educational services to hundreds of children in need. Some services they provide are teaching them how to express themselves, how to eat properly, and how to learn and comprehend information. This ministry truly goes above and beyond their calling while using others to help provide the proper support and resources for these children in families. 

Please feel free to help in anyway possible !! Some of these ways include :

1 )Spiritually : Prayer is power. I am a firm believer that we can make things move and happen with prayer involved. Please pray for me to become spiritually equipped and ready to serve on this trip. Please pray that lives are changed and that we are able to spread light throughout the community.

2 ) Financially : I am a firm believer that God will meet my every need and this also includes financially. These funds will help towards my housing, transportation, and flight. My prayer is that God leads the right people to give and support this ministry through me and others.

3 ) Spread the good news on what all Hope Speaks is doing in Uganda by sharing this page along with others.
