Ashley: God gave me a desire to live overseas and work with children at a very young age. In my freshman year of college, God used a class to confirm this calling.

Titus: I grew up on the mission field in Fiji and the Philippines. Through prayer, I felt a push from God to go beyond America to meet the needs of impoverished orphans and widows.

Titus and I met in college with an increasing desire to serve on the mission field. We were married in 2009 and believed that down the line a door would open for us to serve overseas.  Now the question was where and when. In the past year Titus and I have felt restless and prayed for God to give us direction.  We felt that God was calling us to serve orphans and widows at Esther's House in Malawi, Africa.  We are excited to partner with Pure Mission on this journey.

Malawi is a small country in Southeast Africa with approximately 16 million people-1 million of whom are orphans. We will be working alongside missionary families currently at Esther’s House to serve orphans, widows, and the people of Malawi through evangelism, educational and vocational programs, medical care, church planting, agriculture and water development.
