Frizer's father died in June 2012. She is the second born of four siblings. who live with their mother in a rented one room house. They fetch lake water and treat it for drinking and cooking. The house has no electricity or running water.

Frizer Atieno was born January 7th, 2008. She joined the CGA Nursery class in January, 2013. Her father died June 2012 and her mother Irine Awuor is now the bread winner. Frizer is the second born of four siblings. They all live in a rented, one room house that is made of iron sheets about 2 km away from school. They have no electricity or running water. They use paraffin for lighting and fetch lake water and treat it for drinking and cooking. Frizer is excited to join CGA and we hope she will do well. 2018 Update: Frizer is currently 137.4 cm tall and 27 kgs in weight. She has grown tall and stronger. She stills walks to and from school every day with her older sister and younger brother who also have joined CGA and is in pre-primary. Her mother bore another child and so they are five siblings now. It is not very easy but her grandmothers do send some food for them.
