Tyler & I have begun the journey of adopting to build our family. As soon-to-be first time parents, we are thrilled to share our journey with the world and fellow adoptees and their families. I, myself am adopted from India and Tyler has cousins adopted from the Philippines. So adopting for us, truly was a great choice. We so look forward to every opportunity in front of us. A midst being "paper pregnant", we are hosting garage sales and bake sales to cover some of the fees while saving every penny we make. We felt though that there was more we could do and get local businesses involved. . . So we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $5000.00 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
