TRIP DESCRIPTION
Bogota is more than the capital of Colombia. Home to over 9.8 million people, it’s the political, cultural, and economic center of the entire country. As the third largest capital city in South America, it enjoys strong influence across the hemisphere.
They say the biggest danger in traveling to Colombia is that you’ll never want to leave. Between its vast mountain ranges and sprawling coastlines, the country sports picturesque scenes that capture your heart. But among the 46 million people living there, many have never heard the story of Jesus or experienced his grace firsthand.
WHAT WE’RE DOING
e3 Partners Colombia ministry is developing its efforts to establish our vision, approach, and model in this key city. We have been working in and around the region of Bogota for a number of years with good success. The e3 Colombia Mentor Network is developing its vision and tools for starting, strengthening, and establishing new churches. Our participation as North Americans in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting expeditions are a powerful encouragement and motivation for our Colombian partners. Although it is a summer trip, because of the mountains and altitude, it is cool enough for wearing jackets most of the week!
