Help us get there!  Supporting this fundraiser will help provide us with the necessary transition and establishment costs associated with relocating our family 9,000 miles to Malawi, Africa. These costs include shipping a container for our personal belongings, airfare for our family, work visas, overseas medical insurance, and a vehicle for daily transportation needs. 

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says,” and James 1:27 says, “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”  About 3 years ago, we began to feel God calling us to serve in global missions and these words became imprinted on our hearts as He prepared us for this journey that lies ahead for our family.  Now, we are excited to be partnering with Pure Mission; living in Malawi, Africa and serving as missionaries at Esther’s House orphanage.

Malawi is a small nation in the southern region of Africa that has a population of approximately 16.75 million, and about 1 million of those are orphans. At Esther’s House, we will be teaming with other missionaries to serve orphans and widows in the surrounding villages through tutoring, evangelism, discipleship, child sponsorship programs, medical care and church planting as well as community sustainability through agriculture, well water development, and vocational training.
