Now more than ever, clean water and healthy watersheds are becoming a valuable community asset.

The Beaver Watershed Alliance is raising funds to help assist landowners with planting native shrubs and trees at streamside properties, forests and urban areas to improve water quality and protect our community's natural resources.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 to aid landowners in the Beaver Lake watershed area with free native plants. Your financial contribution will help thousands of native plants to be planted to protect local waterways and ultimately, Beaver Lake, our region's drinking water supply.

Help Continue the Alliance Free Tree and Shrub Program

Collectively, since 2016, we have planted over 35,000 trees and shrubs throughout Beaver Lake watershed. We are looking to continue our Free Tree and Shrub program, but need your support! Any amount, small or large, can help reach our goal.

A mature swamp white oak can absorb about 11,000 gallons of rain runoff per year!

Beaver Lake supplies nearly half a million people with clean drinking water and provides over forty million tourism and recreation dollars for the local economy.

We are asking everyone to donate at least $10, but even if you are not able to donate, please give the opportunity to someone else by promoting this fundraiser on Facebook and in your other social circles. Our goal is to raise $2500 by April 3, 2020.

Thanks for taking a moment to read this and thank you for giving. Every bit helps protect the drinking water source for the people of Northwest Arkansas.
