NWA Space was started because of a belief that Northwest Arkansas needs a facility to inspire career seekers of all ages to pursue careers in the diverse fields of science, technology, engineering, and math. Our ultimate goal is to build a science center and observatory home for our 36-foot long, 1911 Brashear refracting telescope. But in the mean time, we impact lives through our Library Telescope Project, presentations at local schools, science demonstrations at First Friday and farmer's markets, and through star parties all over the region.
That's why we started this fundraiser on Pure Charity. Every penny of this goes to help us achieve our mission. Our two goals for this year's NWA Gives are to raise $3000 to pay storage for the telescope for one year and $3000 toward our architects. These powerful projects even give updates on their progress that show real results!
Thank you for helping us build a strong future for the people who live in Northwest Arkansas!
