Lamas is located in the Amazon region of Northern Peru. You won't find out much at all about Lamas if you search the internet. It is a quiet city. The most well known fact is that there is a castle built by a family from Italy in the heart of the city. Sitting on the side of the Andes Mountains the temperature is cooler than in the Amazon basin. The goal of our team is to take a medical team to take care of the physical needs of those in Lamas. This will soften their hearts to hear the gospel. Jesus said we should give a cup of cold water in His name and that is exactly what we want to do.
