“Engage
Hope" is the theme for FiveStone Community Church's 2017 missions efforts.
God
has opened doors for me as a first time participant on a strategic mission trip
to the villages of Bukabwa, Kibubwa, and now a third plant, Taho, in the Mara
Region of Tanzania. The trip will be
October 3-13, 2017. I will be working
with existing church plants in this area that are starting new churches. I, alongside
other members of FiveStone Community Church, will be going hut-to-hut telling
people about Jesus Christ through translators and bi-lingual literature. The
unique approach of the newly saved Christian inviting other broken people they
know, and then us visiting again with the new Christian sharing the Gospel with
those he invited personally, is a perfect example of multiplying the unreached. I believe it’s a great model in giving a new Believer
the power and ability to share the Gospel to others using their own words.
I
would be honored if you would be on our prayer team. I am asking for your prayers for the
spiritual battles that lie ahead.
Prayers for preparation, safety and effectiveness of mission are
crucial. I will be sending a prayer calendar soon so that you can follow along
and pray specifically for the events of each day.
Also,
I am looking for support in helping to cover the financial cost of the trip.
The cost for the trip is $3600. I would appreciate any contribution you might
make toward these expenses if this is an effort in which you would be blessed
to participate. There is a sense of
urgency, though, as my September 1 DEADLINE is quickly approaching.
If
you are able to financially support me in this mission, please “click” on the

tax-deductible.

Thank
you in advance for joining this effort with me through your prayers and
support. If you have any additional
questions about the trip, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
