Richard Brown Otieno Arunga was born on December 1st, 2012.
His teachers say he is a very quite boy who likes to play with building blocks. When asked why he likes coming to CGA he said, “I love rice and beans at CGA.”
Richard is the first child in his family. He joined the CGA nursery class in January 2017. His father is a high school teacher in the community and his mother is a teacher at CGA. They live in their own two bedroom permanent house with their own compound. He sleeps in a bed under a mosquito net. They have running water but no electricity. They use solar for lighting and charcoal for cooking. Richard went to a nearby school for one year and is now doing very well at CGA.
Richard's parents are grateful for CGA's policy to allow the children of
CGA staff and teachers to attend the school and the receive a
