Friends and family,

We have been married for 16 years. We went through years of trying to become pregnant, going to every Dr that specialized in anything that could help us. After 14 years of marriage God gave us a peace to set aside for now, the heaviness of all the things that weighed us down with infertility. We separately felt that we were being called to adopt, and came together to discover that God had called us as a couple. We did not choose adoption because of infertility, but God chose us to adopt. We immediately felt a renewed hope and fresh perspective of who He has had us become as a couple and what we are able to offer as a family.

So, God gave us a plot twist... the week of our first home study in 2016, we found out we were pregnant! God always honors obedience. This pregnancy was a gift for honoring His calling to what He wanted us to do. We came right back into the adoption journey, right where we left off, as soon as we were able to.

One of the most exciting things about adoption is how it is a picture of how we join God's family. Galatians 4:4-5 "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons."

This is an expensive journey. We have literally been called to something that we are not financially able to fulfill by ourselves. The donation that you give is not only tax deductible but it goes straight to our adoption agency. This donation is not for the two of us or to our future baby. You are giving to the expenses of this adoption. These include application and home study fees, birth parent expenses and legal fees. The birth moms are taken care of and loved the way you would hope the mother carrying your child would be provided for and poured into by amazing people. We are contributing and giving for that reason, if nothing else, of making sure that our birth mom has a place to sleep, food to eat and is surrounded by uplifting professionals that can guide her through an indescribable time. We humbly ask that you will prayerfully consider your involvement. Philippians 4:19 "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
