About this Fundraiser

If your reading this, then you're officially part of the Mustache Mission. We hope you had some fun being recruited onto the team.

Our goal is to spread awareness of adoption and raise the funds needed to bring our two boys home from China.

Why the mustache, you ask? Well. the mission originally started, when I asked friends and family to donate to our adoption, in lou of gifts, for my husbands birthday, who is currently deployed overseas. His fellow soldiers made him a special birthday video (that you can watch below). And it was clear that his mustache had celebrity status! So, I thought we would continue the fun. Hooah!

If your just now joining us, and wondering how to join in the fun, here is what you need to do....

1. Buy, make, draw, or app a mustache! Take a selfie with you wearing your stache. And then post your selfie to your favorite social media pages.

2. Copy and paste this link into your status so that others will know what your doing, and not have you committed! lol! ;)                     https://www.purecharity.com/mustachemission?aff=o13ke

3. Ask your friends to join the mission! Because, really, who wants to be the only one looking silly! lol ;)

So, now, I Must-ache you a question. Will you help us bring our boys home? Will you donate just $10 to give them the gift of a family?

  • Our Boys

Right now, in China, there are two little boys, waiting, hoping to be adopted. They have spent their entire lives within the walls of an orphanage. Looked after by nannies and volunteers. They sleep in a room with dozens of other orphans. The oldest is not allowed to attend the local school. They have nothing in this world they can call their very own. Birthdays come and go each year with no recognition.

If they are not adopted by the time they turn 14, they will be evicted from their respective orphanages and kicked out into the streets, wearing nothing but the clothes on their backs. There are no programs in China to provide orphans with education, housing or jobs. They will be left to fend for themselves, at 14 years old.

Both of these boys have special medical needs that label them "different" by societies standards. Because of this, they would be shunned, and labeled as outcast. It would be impossible for them to find jobs. They would be forced to resort to begging in the street.

But here, here with us, here in a loving home with family, here they could grow up to become anything they want to be!

Will you please help us bring these boys home. Will you please help give them the gift of family.

Thank you
