About this Fundraiser
Over the last two years I have watched my daughter and son-in-law work to support the children and people in Haiti. Through the Chanje Movement, lives are being supported and 'changed' for the better. Matt and Lindsey have traveled to Haiti several times and have a heart to help support a community that is still struggling due to the 2010 earthquake.
Last year I watched as Matt and his team ran a Ragnar race to raise money for Chanje. I was impressed with the commitment level the team had. Ragnar is a 200 mile race over two days starting in Huntington Beach, Ca and ending in San Diego, Ca. 12 team members take turns running various distances. This year when Matt starting talking about running again, I knew I had to join the team. Luckily the team accepted an old lady like myself. I am excited to help raise money for the Chanje Movement. I will not be traveling to Haiti, but everything bit of funds I raise will go to this amazing organization.
