The Erwin Family- A Vital Link, a New Beginning

2017 is our 20th year serving in missions to India! We are excited about being part of the support staff for All India Mission,  as Assistant Development Director.  Our job is to raise awareness and support for Shanti Bahvan Medical Center which provides free medical care for the poor in the Shemdega District in the Southwestern region of Jharkand India. All India Missions has also raised up 700 pastor missionaries reaching out to the 6000 villages in the region.  All India MIssion's motto is "Preaching the Gospel in Word and Deed."

What is a Development Director?

As Development Directors, our role is to understand the ministries outreach goals and determine the finances that will be needed to accomplish the mission. Someone must stand in the gap and raise the funds to cover the cost of training and medical outreach.

Our Goal is to Raise $10,000

We have started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that I need for our staff support with All India Mission. We don't currently have enough monthly supporters to cover our needs so we have a goal to raise one time single donations of $10,000 that will go towards our ministry support needs. Meeting this goal will help to sustain our family while we serve for the next 12 months. India is being transformed one life at a time and it is our dream to see everyone in this great nation hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Medical Outreach - Shanti Bahvan Medical Center
Outreach both medically and spiritually

In 1997, there were more than 50 village churches scattered throughout north India. Although people had come to the Lord, the living standard in each of these villages was very poor. That year Brother NJ received the tragic news that 25 people from one of those villages had died of cholera. (Actually, thousands die every year from cholera, malaria, typhoid and tuberculosis. All within the area served by All India Mission) Brother N.J.’s heart was touched because he knew that most would not have died had they been provided with some kind of medical treatment.

The Lord directed him to pray for a mobile medical team that would go into different villages and show the love of Christ to those who were suffering physical affliction. The most difficult challenge was to find a qualified doctor to direct the work. As a result of prayer, the Lord brought a wonderful, committed doctor, Haribabu and his family, to fulfill the purpose of God.

In 1999, the Lord provided a medical bus, the right medical personnel and the necessary equipment to start our mobile medical ministry. The six-member mobile medical ministry has continued since its inception in 1999, treating over 100,000 children and adults since it commenced operation.
