About our journey

We are ecstatic! We have BIG news! We are adopting a child!

 We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.

God has placed it in our hearts to grow our family just a little more. This journey has been going on for almost 6 years. Our major struggle has been trying to imagine how we could afford an adoption. We were trying to do it all by ourselves.  We came to a peace and understanding that this isn't about our will, but about His will. We have been working hard, saving a lot, and tightening our budget, but we need help funding this adoption. We continue to give this financial burden to God, because we simply don’t have all the money.

We have come to the conclusion that asking for help is hard. We have been anxious, yet humbled at the larger amount of money that is quickly becoming due. We have completed our home-study, and have entered an agreement with a consultant group who will help us to identify our missing piece to our tribe. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. Yes, adopting is expensive; there are a lot of fees to pay a lot of different people. We ask that you pray and support us through this process, we need family and friends to walk with us.

This page will serve as a means to help us fund-raise, all donations are a tax deduction for you, and go directly towards our adoption expenses. We also have a PayPal account if you would prefer.  We won’t take your support for granted. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts in advance.
