Hello Friends and Family, 

It seems hard to believe, but my life-changing trip is just 18 days away.  I am both excited and nervous for what is to come, but I know God has us!  We actually will be celebrating Easter in Uganda!  Our team of 7 will be working closely with the women and children of Bethany Village, as well as with our current family of Westside Hear the Cry missionaries who are living in the region creating tilapia farms and teaching the residents about sustainability. 

Prayer warriors, I have a few prayer requests as our trip nears:
1.  Safe travels to Uganda.  We will have a long trip ahead of us... flying a total of 18 hours, plus some layovers. Pray for strength! 
2.  Prayers for the Holy Spirit to guide our steps and open our hearts to share the love of Christ. 
3.  Keep my team safe from sickness.
 
As I embark on this life-altering journey across the world, I know there will be some amazing stories of how the Holy Spirit will work through my team and I.  I cannot wait to share them with you!  My plan is to take many pictures and write many journal entries as I can for the 14 days we are there.  I am so thankful and blessed for all the donations and prayers for my trip.
