Hi Friends and Family, 

Bags are packed... It is hard to believe my trip starts bright and early tomorrow morning.  My team is meeting at the airport at 6:15 am to be exact! Our long flight has 3 layovers... Washington DC, Brussels, and then after 18 hours... we arrive in Entebbe, Uganda.   

I woke up yesterday morning with some anxious thoughts and the fear of the unknown... but, I feel like that is how I know I am a threat to the enemy. 

"NO weapon formed against you shall prosper.  And every tongue which rises against you in judgement You shall condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord.  Isaiah 54:7   

That was just one of the many verses and prayers I received yesterday and today.  I am so thankful for all your prayers as I prepare for my trip.  I can feel them covering me and for that I am blessed.  I hope you will continue to send prayers for myself and my team... as many of us are going into uncharted territory.   I also ask for prayers for Chris and the boys while I am gone...  I pray that the Holy Spirit will watch over them and take away any fears and anxiety they are feeling about the trip.  

I am not sure what kind of cell service I will have during my trip, but if I have some kind of access... I will try and post a few updates here.
