This is Levi from Elevate Orphan. We want to thank you for your sponsorship of Aida. She is doing great and thriving because of your support!

We also wanted to reach out with an update on how she is doing. With quarantine still on in Ethiopia, and school still not started, normal life has been disrupted for all of the kids in our forever families but the moms and aunts are pulling through and coming up with creative ways to keep the kids busy.

Aida is 12 years old and going into 7th grade this year.

When asked what she's been doing to stay busy during lockdown, she said that she has been watching movies, craft (how to do) videos, and tv shows. She has also been doing crafts, reading books, listening to music, praying, exercising, and helping with daily chores. Her favorite food that her house mom makes is Injera Firfir (traditional food made with Injera, tomato, onion and some spice).
