Hebrews 11 says, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible."
In the past month I have had to live by complete faith as The Lord suddenly but undoubtedly called me to be a part of the Cross Church School of Ministry in Northwest Arkansas. The Cross Church School of Ministry is a full year residency program where I will serve full time at Cross Church on their Springdale Campus as a Student Ministry Intern, while also learning the ropes of how to be a full time minister.
Throughout the year I will get to participate in a number of opportunities including the following:
· Going on three mission trips including one to Mexico and two national trips.
· Leading students to Christ through building relationships, multiple evangelistic events, small groups and discipleship with teenage girls.
· Earning up to 21 hours of seminary credit.
Here’s how you can help me:
· Prayer. As God has called me to full time ministry I’m in much need of prayer. I ask that you pray for me in a few ways.
First- Guidance in where God takes me on my journey.
Second- That I will be used in as many ways as possible to reach numerous people for the Gospel.
Third- For the spiritual warfare that comes with this calling on my life.
· Encouragement. In this stage of my life I desire and need encouraging words poured into me. Please feel free to reach out to me with any kind words or scriptures as you feel lead.
· Funding. My goal to reach for this year is $6,500. This will cover the cost of my education, the mission trips I will go on and the work involved with sharing the life changing love of Jesus Christ.
I want to thank you all for the ways you might choose to help me throughout this year. This opportunity truly means so much to me, and I want you all to be apart of this crazy, exciting journey. I will keep you all updated on what this year brings my way.
