Thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating to my trip to Uganda with Sole Hope. God sent a big holy ice snow storm with Charlotte In the center to keep me from leaving. Once my friday flight to Atlanta was canceled, I tried different flights. I tried to drive to Atlanta only having to turn around because it wasn't safe. The flights leaving out of Atlanta Saturday and Sunday were booked solid. But God had a plan. 10 minutes before I was suppose to board a 9 hour plane ride, I received some devastating news. All I can say is thank God I was home instead of getting ready to leave the country. I worked hard to prepare myself physically, mentally, and spiritually for this trip. It is very clear to me now that God was preparing me for something else. I am beyond sad that I am not in Uganda at this moment with those beautiful children who hold a very special place in my heart.

I will find out in the next couple of weeks if I can get the money back or if it will go toward the next trip.  If you would like your money back please let me know.  I am more than happy to get it to you or have it donated to Sole Hope or applied to the next trip.   I have much hope I will be able to make the next trip.
