Baby Maya made her first appearance on April 14, 2022, at 5:59 PM in Ocala, FL at 6 lbs 7 oz! 

After a quick 48 hours in the hospital, Maya started her journey to Tampa where we stayed with a good friend for a few days before we were cleared to head home to Texas. On the long way back, we made a stop in Hammond, LA to rest and see a few more friends. 

After, a 16-hour drive to Florida and a 16-hour drive home to Texas, we covered 2,300 miles to bring Maya home to Texas. After the rollercoaster 2 months since we matched, we are now looking forward to giving her endless cuddles, changing countless diapers, and having our lives changed for the better.

Thank you to everyone who made this journey possible! We still have a few months until the finalization of the adoption process, but we are relieved to be back home. Maya and her dads are forever grateful!
