What an exciting update for us to give! We are OFFICIALLY an active and waiting family, meaning that we will start seeing cases, presenting our profile to expectant mamas, and hopefully getting matched with a child soon! We are SO THANKFUL for each and every one of you that have donated towards our adoption - we seriously could not do this without you! We are around a third of the way funded, and pray that the Lord will provide for us in big ways throughout the rest of this process! 

It has been very humbling to ask for support financially. Personally, I (Lena) really have a hard time asking for help in general; however, the Lord has been teaching me throughout this adoption process about the importance of being open and vulnerable. Ultimately, we know that HE is in control over every single little step of our adoption, which has ultimately allowed us to trust in His good and perfect timing.
