We are full steam ahead here at EH! Our second team just left, we have a summer intern here and we are rocking out some projects.
The team worked on painting our showers and bathrooms. For sure we will need some more work done in there, but it was a great start! Dr Martin and his team held medical clinics at Esther's House, checking out our staff, the children and widows and a few extras of course. They ministered to a neighbouring village down the road a ways with food, medical, and the Jesus film. It was a blessed time all the way around.
Our summer intern, Miss Azlee Goude, is here til the end of July and we are so thankful for her. God just keeps sending us interns one after the other to fill in the gaps. Huge for our team. Thank you Jesus for them!!! She has been our right hand gal for the last couple weeks and we will keep her rolling til she leaves. Okay we may give her a break here and there. lol
The wall around the previous garden area is almost complete!! Then we will be opening up parts of the existing wall on that side to make the campus grounds bigger. Next up, starting the new construction to meet some immediate needs and long term housing. Things are moving along steadily. I know the devil has tried to throw in the kinks, but we keep on pressing on for the goal! Phil 3: 14
Jason is gathering supplies as we speak, pray for guidance and wisdom to get the task done efficiently and swiftly so as to keep the ball rolling.
We had a new bore hole put in a few weeks back that now is at a stand still. Devil. No worries our God is bigger and He knows the dire need for this "water" Rev 22: 17 Prayers for the problem to be resolved ASAP!! We had the opportunity to pray in front of an unbeliever who drilled the hole and who said we must have had some "good luck" in the first process. Jason corrected him. He may be the man who is coming back to help, so maybe God needed to be in front of him again...?? :)
Loving the LOVE you pour out on us daily, weekly, monthly, however it looks. We feel it and can't do it without you!
