So as most of you know we are right in the middle of adopting from Ethiopia.  As of July 22, 2013 we will have been officially waiting for a referral for two years.  Although the wait and ever-changing process get frustrating, we continue to see the Lord's faithfulness to our family.  We are trusting in His timing as we trust in His call on our family to adopt.  

The call to adopt is one that is can be scary - there are so many unknowns on top of the financial responsibility.  However, He has been faithful in providing for us financially.  Through donations, church grants, and personal finances we have been able to cover expenses thus far.  With our referral date drawing near (although we don't know when) the expectation of additional fees is getting closer too.  

God doesn't call all families to adopt, but He does ask that we all care for the orphans.  Maybe you have been searching for a way to care for the fatherless or help a family that is adopting and just didn't know how.  Would you be willing to help us?

Asking for financial help is never easy - especially when asking friends, however   we are trusting that the Lord will help provide the additional finances, needed to complete the process, through our personal savings and donations from friends. 

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. We have a donations goal of $12,000 which will go directly to our adoption agency - America World. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your generous donation.

If you can't give financially please continue to pray for our family as we continue this process.  Hopefully by the end  2014 we will have our baby home in our arms.
