Today we completed our home study, the last step of our application! We are now officially "waiting" for our baby!
The agency we are working with is now able to show our profile book to expectant mothers who have chosen an adoption plan for their child. The mothers look through profiles of a few different families that are a match with them and choose a family based on a picture book we made, questionnaires, and information from our home study.
   This process has been fast, exciting and scary. We are overwhelmed with emotions ranging from extremely excited to heartbroken over the loss that will take place in order for this child to join our family.
   Please pray for our birth parents, whoever they are, that The Lord would draw them to Himself and give them wisdom and peace about the difficult decisions they are walking in to. Please pray for our child's protection, health and delivery. Please pray for us to wait patiently for our child, trust The Lord confidently with His timing, and for our hearts to be prepared.
