Hi, my name is Adam Smith from asmithblog.com. My team and I write about life leadership there and today I am excited to share with you an opportunity we have to actually put our words into action. This project is all about impacting the lives of children in Gulu, Uganda. We have a chance to help them learn about hope and a future and any time we get a chance like this, I will promote it and encourage others to do the same. 

This is where I need your help. I have never organized an opportunity for people who have a passion to help others to impact an entire country and give to something life-changing. That is what life leadership sounds like to me. I am also thinking that you are wired the same way, as my passion is making a difference in any way that I can possibly do so. What we need from this is backing for $30,000 to build a school.

Here are the individual expenses it will take to build a classroom building: 

Foundation: $8000

Hydraform Bricks: $9000

Veranda and Pillars: $3000

Roofing: $10,000

That sounds inexpensive for an entire building to me and I know we can do this. 

An entire classroom building just costs $30,000 in Gulu, Uganda! 

But, even when we raise all of this money, we still can’t do it on our own. That is one reason I have chosen to do this through Restore International. The bigger reason we are doing this through Restore is that I am in awe of the difference that Bob Goff and the team there are making not only in Uganda, but around the world. Restore's goal is to bring hope, justice, and restoration, which is a mission that I believe all of us can rally behind and they are doing just that. In other words, Love Does. My goal with teaming with Restore International and Bob Goff is to not only bring awareness to the needs of the children of Gulu, Uganda, but the need for us as individuals to begin putting leadership into action. I see that people can get so focused on their day-to-day activities, that they forget how fortunate and blessed they really are, including myself. We need to create the habit of looking outside of our current circumstances and focus on bettering the lives of others in every way possible.

You see, no matter what your story is or where you are at today, you can make a difference. Here is a short video showing you an example of the children’s lives we will impact through doing this and it will show you the real difference we can make.

This touching video displays the reasons why I am excited about us building a classroom building for Restore International. We are impacting lives here. Now, all of this sounds great, right? But to make this happen, I really do need you to join me. The thing is that it doesn’t take much to get involved. All I ask is that you think about what I am asking and give whatever amount you feel that you are able to give. That’s it. No matter how big or small the amount you can give is, it puts this incredibly important need into action and helps build a school for children to learn the tools that they need to go make a positive impact for the future.
