Hello family and friends!
I have always had a strong calling to serve, and I am so happy
to share that I’ve been selected to serve on a mission trip to Hangzhou, China!
I will be working alongside an exceptional group of students and faculty from
the Communication Sciences and Disorders department at Loma Linda University to
provide feeding, swallowing, speech, and language services to infants, children,
and adults.
As of right now, the entire country of China only
has less than 1,200 speech-language pathologists… that is about ONE
speech-language pathologist for every 1.3 million people. This means that there
is a great need for knowledge and resources in our areas of specialty.
This summer, I’ve been chosen to provide services to infants
and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as to educate and train,
medical staff, school staff, and rehabilitation
therapists in assessing and treating ASD and speech and language disorders.
I feel extremely blessed for the opportunity to serve where
it is needed and to share my knowledge, gifts, and passion with the world.
So… what can YOU do to help?
I humbly ask for your loving thoughts, prayers, and
financial contributions for this mission trip. If you are able to assist, I
have provided the link below (all donations are tax-deductible). Any help, small
or big, is greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!
