Hey team!

WOW- today is finally the day!! All the preparation, meetings, prayers, studying God's Word and what the Ethiopians believe, and now it's finally time to go use all that preparation to go share the Good News of Jesus Christ!! 

This morning I was reading in Ephesians, and there are SO many good reminders in there for the believers of Jesus Christ, but in Ephesians 2:1-10, it was just a reminder that WE ALL were once dead in our trespasses and sins, BUT GOD, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, made us alive together with Christ - by GRACE you have been saved. This was just a reminder to me that we all have followed our flesh and sinful nature, but through Christ alone, His sacrifice, and His grace, are we saved.

This is my prayer as I get on a plane to travel to Ethiopia today, that everyone we come in contact with will have the opportunity to choose this same freedom and grace I have experience in Christ, for their own. That every single person we talk to and interact with would experience more deeply God's love for them, and see His pursuit of them. That they would desire a relationship with our perfect Father over a relationship with this world. 

I am BEYOND excited to finally embark on this trip, and I could NOT be getting on this plane without YOUR support! Thank you for financially giving, and for all your prayers! I will post a prayer calendar on my instagram as well as Facebook, so you can have specific things to be praying for each day of my journey! So thankful for each one of you, I truly could not be doing what the Lord has for me this week in Africa without you, and I wish words could express how grateful I am!
