Help educate young moms in computer literacy
Mercy House Kenya not only houses babies, toddlers, young mothers and pregnant girls, we've also created a school within the walls of our maternity home. And we want to set up a computer lab to teach our high school girls computer skills.

Education is critical in a country like Kenya where the unemployment rate is so high. Many schools don't allow pregnant girls to continue their education, so our girls come to us and are behind in basic schooling. We spend the first year concentrating on getting the girls healthy, helping them have their babies, inner healing, counseling and English.
For our high school girls, we have created an on-campus homeschool where local teachers come and teach individual classes like Algebra, Chemistry, Literature, etc. We would like all of our residents to be proficient in computer skills to help give them even more of an advantage once they graduate.
This project would fund new laptop computers, Internet, a printer, tables, and chairs. And be a game-changer for our girls.
