For those of you who have been waiting for the official update on how much we have fundraised, here it is, just in time for our final push!

We are only 47 days from our court date and under 40 days from traveling to Uganda! We're on the last lap here before we need the funds to pay our Uganda fees and team (lawyers, court fees, translator, etc.)

But here's the updated total (since this site doesn't take into account the funds given that weren't raised directly on here): $10,273.61!

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!

We are over the halfway mark for donations, friends! Our goal has been to fundraise/get grants for half the needed amount and to save up for the other half ourselves, and you guys have helped us get so far in our fundraising adventure!

Here are some recent totals that just bless our hearts:

• From the 'Oceans' tee shirt fundraiser, (which ends on Feb. 28th), we have already raised $434.69! 
• The Trades of Hope fundraiser that ended a couple weeks ago helped us raise another $133!
• The current sticker fundraiser has raised over $223, and that one's still in the process of receiving payments!

As we've been saying all along, every little bit counts, 'cause here we are at $10k! But we could still use your help!

I think now's the time to break down the numbers a bit; did you know:

• if you and 99 other people decided to gift us with $100, we would reach our fundraiser total today?
• if you and about 499 others bought a tee today off our fundraiser, we would only need $5,000 more to reach our goal?
• if 5 of you donated just $2 then asked 10 of your friends to donate $2 and pass on the message, that it would only take that chain of donating $2 and telling 10 friends to do the same 3x to reach our goal? (You donate $2 and tell 10, they donate $2 and tell 10, they donate $2 and tell 10 and they donate $2... hmmm, next fundraiser, perhaps?)

When you see about $10,000 left, you may see a big number, but I see big potential to get others involved! It does take a village, but together, it could take as little as $2! ;) I also see a number that we can totally hit in the next month!

Would you join with us in giving this little orphan boy home and a family? It will make all the difference in the world to him, and will mean more than you know to us!

Thank you to all of you who have been a support from the very beginning and those who have donated any amount in the past! Without you we absolutely would not have made it to this halfway point! Every penny counts, and your gifts have not gone unappreciated. We have been humbled to the point of tears that you have partnered with us to change the fate of an orphan and make this sweet boy a part of our family.
