It does cost a lot to adopt from China, there's no doubt about that. Roughly $29,500 to over $40K, in fact. In my blog post I go into more detail about how we hope to raise the funds for our adoption. Some of it through savings and sacrifice, some through grants and hopefully the rest through fundraisers. Check out our adoption blog here -
http://worshipaddict.blogspot.com/So, whats next? First of all, thank you for a few more donations to our crowd funding campaign here at pure charity! What a blessing to see others come alongside us!Secondly, our next fundraiser begins next weekend! I am going to be making my mothers homemade kaiser rolls and selling them for the Christmas holiday! I hope to raise $500 doing this to put towards our first down payment of $2400. I am happy to say that I've already had a few orders placed, but I'm not officially taking orders until next weekend!
So, with that, here is an update on our first down payment:Crowd Funding - $1,000 - ($320 met, $680 to go!)
First Fundraiser - $500 - ($354 met, $144 to go!)
Our Family Contribution - $900
Thank you for continuing to partner and pray with us in this incredible journey! Lets bring Tori home!
