GREAT NEWS! As some of you know, Jason and Sheena have decided to adopt a precious child from Ghana - a little boy around the age of 4 or 5 years old or a sibling set! We're so excited to give this precious child an opportunity to grow up in our home, a loving family, and safety and stability. And we are so excited to invite you to be a part of our child’s journey and story...a part of our child’s extended family and how they were able to come home!
We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. EVERY donation made to Pure Charity is tax deductible!! Pure Charity also has a rewards program, and if you purchase from online stores (ie Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc) through this program, and designate our fundraiser as your beneficiary, then a portion of everything you buy on those websites will be donated to this fundraiser as well!
Campaign Goal: We have a donations goal of $16000 that will go towards a large portion of the cost of the adoption. This will cover the Orientation fee, the Agency Fee, the Foreign Fee, the required Humanitarian Aid, the Dossier, etc.
Every donation is important and will help make this adoption a success. So for this specific campaign we are doing something we are calling the 1500*8 Puzzle Campaign.
We are so excited about this PUZZLE FUNDRAISER! It works like this:
1. We have a 1500 piece puzzle.
2. We are “selling” each piece for $8. You can choose to buy 1, 2, 3, or 10! There is no limit! You can even go half with your roommate!
3. To purchase by giving a Tax Deductible Donation through Pure Charity, use the link on this page. To give via PayPal, use the email address, criswells4@hotmail.com. Or you can email us at criswells3@gmail.com for our address and send a check in the mail.
4. Once you purchase a piece, we will write your name on the back of one of the puzzle pieces and send you a picture.
5. Once every single piece has been “sold”, we will put the puzzle together and hang it in a double-sided glass frame for the kids’ room so that they can always look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” of bringing them home!
Would you kindly consider joining with us and becoming a part of our child’s story? Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
Thank you so much for being a part of our lives, a part of our children’s story, and helping accomplish something that's important to all of us!
