I've been waiting since September to say this...We have officially become Home Study approved! Woohooooo! 

That means we have submitted all of our paperwork (thank the Good Lord) for our Home Study, we have had all of our visits, interviews and safety home checks!

Currently, we are putting the final tweaks in our profile book to be complete. This book is what birth mama will be viewing in order to select us. So we have spent much time working on this book, trying to be as transparent and genuine as possible. We are hoping that our message translates through the pages of how much we will love this child and have prayed for this gift of a family. 

Once our profile book is officially complete, we will be applying to Grants and seven more Agencies. Three more agencies here in Arizona and four more agencies in Florida. Florida is an extremely adoption friendly state that is why we felt called to apply there. We also will be hearing about any last minute decisions to adopt, this process is usually called "Born Baby" or "Stork Drop" cases. The idea that we could be parents at any moment brings us so much joy. We also understand that this is God's timing and we know that whenever or however long it takes, that it's going to be perfect.
