Can you imagine your kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids or friends' kids going to school without electricity? In staggering heat? Without access to books? Going hungry on weekends when school is not in session because they are solely fed through the school's feeding program?
This is the reality for kids in one of the biggest slums of Nairobi, Kenya where eduKenya operates a first rate school ranked #1 among schools in a regional consortium. Many kids are orphans, all live in abject poverty.
Would you consider giving $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can to provide essential supplies for the school? We have just 10 days to fund a project on Pure Charity to purchase 300 books, cooking equipment for the feeding program, fans, solar lanterns and basic school supplies. Every little bit helps!
