Refugee Care Collective ESL Tutoring Program
Many refugees arrive to Portland each year not able to speak or understand English. This is one of the greatest challenges that refugees face in rebuilding their lives in the United States.
Refugee Care Collective's ESL (English as a Second Language) program empowers refugees to understand and speak with confidence in the world around them. In doing so, parents are able to help their children in school, sustain their family's health, seek new employment, and adapt to life here.
Giving the gift of English is giving a life-changing opportunity to someone. A donation of $50 allows an individual to join this six month program.
