Feed My Starving children

Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit that has has existed for 25 years to turn hunger into hope. Using volunteer meal packers and a unique system of embedded missionaries and NGOs, FMSC meals have reached the most needy in countries like Haiti, North Korea, Somalia, and Kenya with a 99.96% success rate of delivery. In 2012, 657,000 FMSC volunteers packed 163 million meals.

Fernanda's Story

Fernanda (pictured above) is from Nicaragua. Her home was destroyed in a flood. She now lives in a warehouse with her four siblings, grandma, and hundreds of others waiting for promised housing from the government. She receives FMSC meals through our partner Samartian's International, who feed children all around Nicaragua through school feeding, medical centers, and even at a garbage dump.

FMSC meals were scientifically-designed to fight malnutrition. Our primary meal, MannaPack Rice, contains rice, soy, vegetables, and 20 vitamins and minerals. Every meal is packed by volunteers at packing locations in MN, IL, AZ, and nationwide at MobilePack events. For more information on packing meals, visit fmsc.org/volunteer.

The Numbers

FMSC has been given Charity Navigator's highest 4-star rating for 8 consecutive years, putting us in the top 2% of all charities. Our meals cost just $0.22 each and over 90% of donations go directly into the feeding program.
