Feed Their Tummies

Democratic Republic of the Congo

Life Changing. Posted about ago

No words could express how grateful we are for your support. I wish I could bring every person who has donated to this program to Kinshasa in order to meet these beautiful children to see exactly how your donation has impacted these little lives.

Food continues to be delivered every other week. Tummies are being fed. Love is being poured out.

The team from Mwangaza International has worked tirelessly to ensure that these children know that they are not forgotten. They show up to bring food and care.

The nurse visited last week for a jigger removal clinic. The kids were so brave and lined up perfectly waiting for their turn to have their feet treated. {Jiggers burrow into exposed skin on the feet and remain there for two weeks while developing eggs, during which time they swell dramatically, sometimes causing intense irritation. If the Jigger is left within the skin, dangerous complications can occur including secondary infections, loss of nails, and toe deformation}.

Thank you again for loving these children and partnering with us to change their lives!!
