We need your help fueling a support staff member for one year in Asia. Her work will directly impact the effectiveness of a team of undercover investigators in one of the worst red-light districts in the world. 

The Story. 

We were talking with an undercover investigator, a former member of the special forces, who lives and works in Asia gathering evidence of minors in brothels, women held against their will, pedophiles abusing boys, and he said to us - "We need help. We can't keep up with the details because we have so many cases to work." Currently, the team of three has a stack of 50+ cases they're attempting to wade through with local police.

Enter "Bree." She is a qualified woman with extensive cross-cultural experience who is volunteering an entire year (or more) to meet this very need in SE Asia with this field team. Beginning in May 2014, Bree will be living and working on the ground, providing crucial support to this team of frontline investigators.  She will assist in basic surveillance and organize evidence from lead investigators, manage field reports, and coordinate investigations. She may not actually kick down the door, but she'll provide key support for those that do. 

In the course of the upcoming year, it is estimated that she will assist administratively with at least 40 cases of human trafficking which will likely result in the rescue of 15-30 individuals, but will impact many, many more. 

What We Need.

Because we maximize donated funds for raids/rescues/investigative expenses, many of our field staff raise support for their positions, live on pensions, or work primary jobs. While we cover investigative expenses, basic living expenses for investigators are beyond our budget at this time. 

Which is where you can come in. We need Bree on the field. Our investigators need a consistent, qualified support staff they can depend on. But we don't have the funding at this point to fully cover her basic living expenses. Could you help us? All funds will go directly into Bree's account and will be transferred to her in Asia to cover such expenses as food, lodging, transportation, insurance, and utility bills. 

Who We Are. 

The Exodus Road is a nonprofit that sends undercover investigators to look for sex slaves, primarily in India and SE Asia. We have a network of police contacts, and always work with local government. To date, we've helped rescue 252 victims from brothels and support 53 undercover investigators.
