Here we grow again! 




It's no secret were passionate about adoption. We believe every child deserves a family to call their own so when God placed adoption on our hearts again this summer, we jumped in with both feet and said "yes!" 

For those of you who are unfamiliar with our family, we have two beautiful boys, Max and Michael, who have also come into our family through adoption. Max joined us through domestic infant adoption in June 2012 and Michael followed through Ugandan adoption in 2014. Michael has cerebral palsy quadriplegia and knowing him has grown our hearts for children who are differently abled.

After much prayer and council from friends and family, we have decided to pursue special needs adoption from China. Like we did with Michael's adoption, we want to choose a child who is already waiting for a family, instead of us waiting for a match to be made.

We are open to nearly any special need and Bethany Christian Services has multiple children waiting who fit our criteria: a waiting child in China under 3 years of age with some sort of special need. However, we have made the decision to wait to choose a specific child until we are closer to our financial goal because we don't want to take away a child's opportunity to have another family complete the process faster than we'd be able to.

We long to commit to one of these children, but the reality is that waiting child adoption goes quickly and adoption is costly. We anticipate the process taking about a year and it will cost approximately $30,000. We have our initial expenses saved; however, we feel God has called us to step out in faith again and trust that He will provide what we need. 

We've started a fundraiser on Pure Charity to raise the funding that we need to make our adoption a success. It's been our dream to help give a child an opportunity like this and we hope that you will consider helping us make our dream a reality.
