This has been so hard to keep under my hat while we worked out details. Y'all know I'm a terrible secret keeper!
We are so excited to tell you we have been matched with a 14 month old baby girl, who we will name Lorelai JiaMei. Lorelai was born prematurely at 33 weeks and has developmental delays due to a difficult birth, as well as a heart defect. She's described as sweet and quiet (heaven help her with two big brothers!) and her favorite thing to do is listen to music.
We still have a long way to go until Lorelai comes home. Please pray for her health and safety, finances as we work toward bringing her home and for our hearts as we spent the next 8-12 months on the other side of the world from our daughter.
