Friends,

Thank you so much for your encouragement and support on our adoption journey.  We are thrilled to share that after officially registering with India yesterday, we received word today that we have been formally APPROVED to be matched with a child from India. We were prepared to wait 3-4 months for approval - to be approved next day is just about unheard of!

Now we wait for a referral. Once we are matched we will begin another chapter of paperwork (which typically takes 6-12 months) and prepare to travel to India where we will likely spend about 2 weeks in country finalizing the adoption. We will continue to keep you posted along the way. We can't wait to see what is in store for our family.
