Our previous experiences of adopting seems to be helping as we begin the process a 3rd time.  We have quickly worked our way through the long check list of home study requirements!  We will be finishing up our required education this week, completing our home study visit/interview next week and updating fingerprints.  Our references have been busy getting their part done as well!  We are hopeful that our home study update will be complete as early as January. 

We are also beginning the process of writing our profile and selecting pictures to place in it to accurately and attractively depict our family life.  This profile is a key element in the adoption process as it is what a birth family views when deciding which family is the best match for the child they are placing for adoption.  Pray for us to have wisdom with portraying our life in a way that captures who we are.  We hope to have the final drafts of our profile complete and ready to distribute as soon as our home study update is complete!
