About this Fundraiser

Your financial gifts to I am Second- Nashville help fuel a movement that began in one the City's most tragic times.

The 2010 flood that engulfed much of Nashville caused horrific upheaval on many levels. Thus was born the first I am Second outreach in Nashville, where we documented people's personal stories of faith in the midst of a crisis  and locally shared with residents. The movement also personally ministered to families affected by the flooding.

With that emotional start, a concerted effort to raise funding resulted in a successful 2012 media campaign introducing iamsecond.com and its associated films to the community. At least ten of the films on the website feature notable Nashville residents, including Scott Hamilton, Josh Turner, Darrell Waltrip, Rudy Kalis, Mike Fisher, and Michael W. Smith. Other celebrity artists and families in the region have since lent their endorsement and involvement to the movement, participating in scores of events, outreaches and personal appearances with universities, youth organizations and community activities.

From Country Music to professional hockey, from television to high schools, I am Second is impacting this region. Your financial support will keep the spiritual conversation flowing in unexpected places!
