You know the saying "When it rains, it pours".  As if Covid-19 was not enough to deal with, the country of Belize has been hit with major storms and flooding issues. Belize is located just above Sea Level and is severely prone to sea rises and flooding.

I just wanted to inform all sponsors in the Burrell Boom area of Belize that many of the children have been displaced from their homes due to the flooding issues in the country. Our Dream514 in country advocate, Margarita Jones, has been working tirelessly to make sure everyone has food and clothing. Hopefully the waters will recede soon and everyone can return to their homes. Many will have flood damage and we will assess the situation as we are able to get to the areas that are flooded. Many are coming to meet Mrs. Jones in canoes to receive food. I'll let you know more as the situation unfolds.
