We would love to invite you on our journey with us.  We are in the process of growing our family through the miracle of adoption again.  We know that God has called us to adoption and we find no greater joy than adding another child to our family in this way.

We have begun to work with a new agency called American Adoptions which is nationwide.  This nationwide agency gives us the opportunity to be matched with a Birthmom from any state within the US.  We have completed all the paperwork to be active and are just waiting to be selected.

At this point our profile is being shown to birth moms who are making adoption plans and looking for a family like ours.  As soon as we are chosen by a birth family we will need to come up with $20,000 in 48 hours in order to move forward in the process.  We could be chosen tomorrow, or in six months, or anywhere in between.  The wait time is completely unpredictable. 

We have been saving for quite some time and have spent over $10,000 on the steps leading up to this point to go active with our nationwide agency.  We have depleted all our savings to get us to this point which left us wondering how we would come up with the rest of the funds we need before we are matched.  

This is where we feel very stretched to live by faith and trust that the God who called us to this will make a way for us.  We have diligently walked though each of the steps with our agency to get us to this point and now is where our capability ends and the miraculous must begin.  

We have considered many options for how we will come up with the remaining $20,000 and feel that God is leading us to do the hardest thing possible which is to ask for help.  It seems much easier to get another job and just work independently towards this goal but we really feel that God is leading us to invite other people in to our journey to live in community and to provide an opportunity for others to give in order to display the Gospel through this story.  

So, we've started a fundraiser with Pure Charity to raise the additional money we need to complete our adoption. We have a donation goal of $20,000 that will cover all the remaining costs related to our adoption which include agency fees, birthparent expenses, travel costs and attorney fees.  Pure Charity is a non-profit organization which means your gift is tax deductible.  Once we have reached our goal, Pure Charity will disperse the funds directly to our adoption agency, American Adoptions.
