Our caseworker has been assigned & we are almost live!!! Only thing left to do is create our photo book... such an awkward task.

For those of you who may not be familiar with the process, the photo book is a key part of the "matching" process. We, as the adoptive family, are tasked with compressing our lives – personalities, lifestyle, hobbies, families, home, future plans, etc. – into a hardcopy photo book that fully represents us. Birth mothers are shown photo books so that they might choose the family where they'll place their son or daughter... No pressure! I feel for both sides of this equation...
